About Me

I am a teacher committed to cultivating an environment of love for learning, curiosity, community, and nature. I have 8+ years of experience teaching in the Chicago Public Schools system and 2 years in private teaching. I have worked with with a pod of wonderful kindergarteners in South Bay region of Los Angeles and currently homeschool in the Rancho Palos Verdes and Santa Fe Springs area. My involvement has prepared me to become an effective and efficient leader who can focus on strategies which can be of most benefit to your children.

I have built numerous curriculum units integrating technology, project-based learning, and inquiry across all subjects, while considering students’ diverse needs, backgrounds, and interests. Developing units requires analyzing past and current student data, gaining knowledge on core standards and content, and discovering new, creative ways to make the process engaging. With this background, I am well-versed in setting and meeting my students’ goals, and would be thrilled to share my passion for continuous learning.
